Solution
Data and BI for water and waste
A sector with a duty to report, distributed operations and data split across SCADA, ERP and spreadsheets. BI here is not a luxury: it is part of compliance.
The problem
Every report is rebuilt by hand
The operational data sits in several systems and nobody has joined it. Every regulatory or board report comes out of exports and spreadsheets that someone reconciles under pressure.
Signs this is you
- Each department gives a different figure for the same indicator
- Compliance reports are assembled by hand every quarter
- SCADA, ERP and field data that do not cross-reference
- No reliable history to see trends
What we do
What we do
Data warehouse
A single place where operational, billing and field data arrive, with automatic loading and quality control.
Dimensional modelling
Agreed definitions of each indicator so "volume treated" or "incidents" mean the same in every report.
Compliance reports
Regulatory reports generated from the warehouse, reproducible and with traceability back to the source data.
Dashboards
Operational and management panels from the same source, with no intermediate exports.
- One figure
- per indicator, with an agreed definition
- Traceable
- from the report to the source data
- Reproducible
- the quarterly report stops being assembled by hand
How we do it
How we do it
Source inventory
Which systems hold data, in what state, and who owns each one.
DeliverableSource and quality map
One indicator end to end
We pick a critical indicator and take it from source to report. It validates the approach before scaling.
DeliverableFirst indicator in production
Extend and automate
We add the rest of the sources and reports and automate the loads.

FAQ
What people ask us
Can you read data from our SCADA?
If it exposes an API, a database or file exports, yes. In the diagnosis we check what yours allows and which flows are covered.
Do we need to change our ERP or operations software?
No. The warehouse feeds on what you already have; it does not replace the operational systems.
Does it work for the reports the administration requires?
That is usually the first use case: generating the regulatory reports from a single, traceable source instead of rebuilding them each period.
