Solution

Technology partner for startups with a product

You already have a product and customers, but every important technical decision falls on one or two people and there is nobody to check it against. That is the gap we fill.

The problem

The product grows faster than the technical judgement

The startup moved fast and well, but now there are decisions — scaling, security, a redesign, hiring — that need experience the team does not yet have, and a permanent CTO is not warranted.

Signs this is you

  • One person knows critical parts of the system
  • Technical debt is mentioned in every meeting with no numbers
  • Nobody with experience reviews the architecture decisions
  • You need to hire technical people and cannot define the role or interview

What we do

What we do

Fractional technical leadership

A few days a month, continuously, with responsibility for the decisions: architecture, technical roadmap, vendor control.

Technical debt with numbers

We quantify what it costs to maintain what you have so it can be prioritised like any other investment.

Technical hiring

Role definition, participation in interviews and design of the team's engineering practice.

Development reinforcement

Senior hands for the specific piece that blocks the team, when needed.

How we do it

How we do it

  1. Diagnosis

We review architecture, risks and team organisation. We come out with the three decisions that matter most now.

  2. Continuous engagement

A fixed rhythm of days a month with quarterly goals, presentable to a board.

  3. Review and adjust

Every quarter we review what has changed and re-adjust the priority.

FAQ

What people ask us

How is this different from a one-off consultancy?

In the continuity and the responsibility. We do not hand over a report and leave: we take part in the decisions month by month and answer for them.

What if what we need is hands, not decisions?

Then what you need is development capacity and it is cheaper. We say so in the diagnosis if that is the case.

When does it make sense to move to a permanent CTO?

When technology is so central and the team so large that it needs full-time attention. We help with that transition, including the hiring.
